As part of the HVB Women&#039;s Advisory Council initiative, experienced female entrepreneurs and members of the HVB Women&#039;s Advisory Council will accompany female founders on their journey to self-employment for six months. This year&#039;s mentors include Nina Hugendubel and Annette Roeckl, two of whom represent true Munich entrepreneurial tradition.<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The HVB Female Founder Mentoring program delivers what its name promises: In this support program, <a href=\"\/en\/5075\/apply-now-for-the-hvb-founders-mentoring-2016\/\">All female founders can apply until 11 March 2016<\/a>The selected mentees receive numerous practical tips and can directly benefit from the experience and networks of their mentors. This year&#039;s mentors include Nina Hugendubel and Annette Roeckl.<\/p>\n<h3>Nina Hugendubel: Clear strategy from the start<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/cms.munich-startup.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/mentorin15_hugendubel.jpg_528588102.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-8521\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-8521\" src=\"https:\/\/cms.munich-startup.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/mentorin15_hugendubel.jpg_528588102.jpg\" alt=\"mentorin15_hugendubel.jpg_528588102\" width=\"141\" height=\"147\" \/><\/a>The managing partner of Germany\u2019s largest owner-managed bookstore chain, <strong>Nina Hugendubel<\/strong>, knows the importance of continually rethinking existing strategies and, if necessary, changing direction. Transitioning the Munich-based family business into the digital age presents the entrepreneur with real challenges:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&quot;It&#039;s about recognizing the direction of change and helping to shape it with the right strategy. The Munich-based entrepreneur is the sixth generation to lead the family business Roeckl Handschuhe und Accessoires GmbH &amp; Co.<a href=\"https:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Roeckl_%28Unternehmen%29\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">\u00a0<\/a>Under her leadership, the company transformed into a clear focus on fashion accessories with a focus on product range expansion, internationalization, and innovation.<\/p>\n<p>Coming from a family of entrepreneurs, Roeckl sees herself as a suitable mentor for female founders, as she believes there are many commonalities between both types of entrepreneurs.
