Plan4Better:<\/strong> How can people in the city be motivated to drive less? Plan4Better<\/a> has developed cloud-based planning software for sustainable urban and transport planning that is designed to help with precisely this issue. Ideally, urban space is planned so that all everyday destinations can be reached by bike or on foot within a quarter of an hour. The spin-off from the Technical University of Munich (TUM) has received, among other things, the Innovation Award of the State Capital of Munich for its concept and was awarded the Smart Country Startup Award 2021<\/a> awarded. Golane (formerly Bluego):<\/strong> Buying tickets for public transport varies from city to city and can be perceived as an obstacle to using public transport and preferring to use the car instead. Golane<\/a> wants to put an end to this confusion and simplify ticket purchasing across cities. The idea: With the Golane app, passengers should be able to check in and out of public transport without having to purchase a special ticket in advance. Billing for the best ticket combination is done automatically after the end of a specific billing period. So far, the Munich startup's solution is live in Augsburg. Ottobahn:<\/strong> With a gondola system guided on rails<\/a>, which will operate five to ten meters above road traffic, Ottobahn aims to solve the traffic problem in urban areas. Users can call the cabins via app and get on and off at any time along the route. An algorithm calculates the fastest connection for all gondolas along the route in real time. In addition, the transport system is intended to be CO2-neutral. And things are looking good for Ottobahn: In February of this year, the Munich startup Building permit for a test and reference track in Taufkirchen<\/a> preserved. Mobiko: <\/strong>The mobility budget startup Mobiko<\/a> was founded in 2018 by Audi Business Innovation and the company builder Mantro. The name is an abbreviation for mobility quota and gives a hint of the Munich-based company's product: They offer companies a solution for billing their employees' mobility expenses via a monthly digital mobility budget. Employees receive a monthly, flexible mobility budget that they can use individually for different mobility service providers and services.
