The R&amp;D service provider supports companies such as BMW, Siemens, MTU, Microsoft, and Lufthansa Technik with innovations. Many of the solutions developed by the project teams have the potential to become independent products. Motius intends to support these spin-offs in the future with its \u20ac35 million Spacewalk fund.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Market advantage, technology &amp; now also capital<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Zied Bahrouni<\/strong>, CEO and Co-Founder of Motius, explains:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>&quot;Thanks to our R&amp;D business, we know earlier than others which markets will emerge from new technologies. After successful projects, we have the right teams with the right products at the right time. They have developed solutions to technological challenges together with leading companies \u2013 and thus our first customers. This is an ideal starting point for deep-tech startups: a market lead, the latest technologies, our first customers, and a well-coordinated team. All that&#039;s missing is capital. Now, after our successful first closing, that&#039;s what Spacewalk is providing.&quot;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>To launch Spacewalk, Motius has reorganized its personnel: Michael M\u00fcnnix and Felix Wolf are joining the team as Venture Partners. Spacewalk&#039;s Advisory Board includes Carlos Haertel, the CTO of <a href=\"https:\/\/climeworks.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Climeworks<\/a>, Hana Milanov from the <a href=\"\/en\/startups\/technical-university-of-munich\/\">Technical University of Munich<\/a>, and Herbert Mangesius, Founding Partner at <a href=\"https:\/\/vsquared.vc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Vsquared Ventures<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Build your own development into a successful startup<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The fact that successful project teams can quickly become entrepreneurs is also due to Motius&#039;s unique organizational structure: In addition to a core team as a competence center, the young company has access to a pool of highly qualified talent with a wide range of qualifications. A project team is assembled for each task, and project management is handled by Motius&#039;s core team.
