Deep One develops portable subwoofers that transmit low-frequency sound directly to the body. In the 'Lion's Den', the Munich<\/a> a near-production prototype of their product.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

says the engineer Stefan Sube<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHaptic perception is the key to reality.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Together with Sube, industrial designer Frederik Podzuweit and Professor Emeritus of Financial Econometrics Stefan Mittnik are presenting Deep One to TV investors. The audio device, designed by Podzuweit, can help deaf people perceive music and, at the same time, enhance the listening experience for hearing people. The founders are seeking \u20ac200,000 from investors for 10 percent of their shares.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stefan Sube developed the prototype together with Podzuweit. He explains in the TV show:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

"The Deep One is a great device, especially for gamers, because it allows them to immerse themselves even deeper into their gaming world. The same applies to watching movies."<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Deep One: \u201cAn unforgettable experience\u201d<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The TV investors take turns trying out the device and are impressed by the audio and tactile experience. Judith Williams calls it an "unforgettable experience" that is "extremely uplifting." Only Georg Kofler<\/strong> does not really understand the enthusiasm of his colleagues and refers to his subjective perception:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

"I'm very impressed that you're all so excited. I'm not."<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

However, after all the other investors considered themselves unsuitable and submitted no offers, it was Kofler, of all people, who offered the requested \u20ac200,000, albeit for 25 percent of the shares. Kofler also had the gaming community in mind as his target audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After a brief consultation and a counteroffer rejected by Kofler, the founders accepted Kofler's offer and transferred a quarter of their company to the South Tyrolean for 200,000 euros. startup scene<\/a> However, as reported, the deal fell through after the broadcast, citing the global chip shortage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
