When asked why <strong>Kruse<\/strong> invested in the young company, he says:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>&quot;[\u2026] Because the concept serves two absolute megatrends: sustainability and sports\/health, it therefore has great potential. The way the founding team lives the concept and implements it for Planetics is extremely consistent and promising.&quot;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Founded <a href=\"https:\/\/www.planetics.de\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Planetics<\/a> by Fabian H\u00f6rst, Alexandros Taflanidis, and Raphael Breitner. With their platform for sustainable sports equipment, the three want to make it as easy as possible for customers to choose sustainable and fair sports alternatives. <strong>Fabian H\u00f6rst<\/strong> says in <a href=\"\/en\/67338\/interview-planetics\/\">Interview with Munich Startup<\/a>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>&quot;In addition to sportswear, we also offer sports equipment and nutritional supplements. We select all products based on certain criteria such as safe production sites and fair working conditions, recycled or renewable and biodegradable materials, and the smallest possible carbon footprint.&quot;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Growing product range and increasing sales at Planetics<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Existing investors such as <strong>Bernd Geilen<\/strong>, former board member of ING Diba, is convinced. Regarding his renewed investment in the current round, he says:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u201cThe growing product range, increasing sales, and the dedicated team were decisive factors for further investment.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Planetics is also pleased with the expansion of the pre-seed round. <strong>Fabian H\u00f6rst<\/strong>, co-founder of Planetics, says:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u201cFor us, this is, on the one hand, the result of targeted and dedicated work, and on the other hand, it means that we can continue to pursue our vision of sustainably changing the sports industry.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>The Munich-based startup plans to conduct a seed round next fall, and initial discussions with additional investors are already underway, according to the company.<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Planetics is expanding its pre-seed round with a six-figure sum from existing and new investors.
