The aim of the Hidden Movers Awards<\/a> The aim of the award is to transform innovative ideas, local initiatives, and regional projects in the education sector into role models with a strong impact that bring about lasting changes in the lives of young people nationwide. The winning initiatives of this annual award receive not only cash prizes but also consulting, coaching, and communication support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The funding is primarily aimed at educational initiatives that break new ground. In recent years, for example, an educational escape room on cyberbullying, an inclusive computer game, and a rap training program have received awards. The winning projects of the Hidden Movers Award support young people on their way to completing school or entering the job market, accompany them through specific everyday challenges, create intercultural encounters, and teach digital skills. Wolfgang Grewe<\/strong>, Chairman of the Board of the Deloitte Foundation, says:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

"The challenges faced by the people in this country are as individual as they are diverse. Therefore, we support educational initiatives that address the needs of young people, using the means that best reach them. Last year, for example, we honored a project in which young people shared financial knowledge with young people on social media platforms." <\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Presentation of the Hidden Movers Award in Munich<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Hidden Movers Award is presented in three categories. The type of funding for the winning initiatives is based on the respective category. Winners in the Innovation category receive six months of free consulting from Deloitte, coaching from Social Entrepreneurship Akademie<\/a> and a communications package. Winning initiatives in the Growth and Language Promotion categories will receive a total of \u20ac75,000 in prize money, in addition to consulting and coaching. Jil Hammerschmidt<\/strong>, Co-Head of Innovation at Deloitte, says:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

"In the first step, we want to find out from the applicants what the project is about, the idea behind their commitment, and how they are bringing about lasting change in the lives of young people. And, of course, we are interested in where the founders are and how they want to develop."<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
