Yfood&#039;s meal replacement drinks are tailored to Generation Y, who have increasingly less time and a generally lower income, but at the same time want to eat healthier, according to the <a href=\"\/en\/28759\/7-questions-yfood-labs\/\">both founders in an interview with Munich Startup<\/a>This approach also convinced investors: After a successful deal at <a href=\"\/en\/42188\/yfood-lions-den\/\">&#039;The Lion&#039;s Den&#039;<\/a> Frank Thelen joined as an investor in 2018. It all began with edible drinking straws made from plant fibers. The Wisefood product range now encompasses almost everything related to disposable tableware, much of it still edible. In 2020, the three founders, Philipp Sibernagel, Patricia Titz, and Maximilian Lemk, were able to <a href=\"\/en\/58993\/series-a-financing-wisefood\/\">successful financing round of one million euros<\/a> Wisefood was also able to benefit from the EU-wide ban on single-use plastic tableware that came into force in July 2021. According to the company, it currently exports its products to more than 20 countries worldwide. Since 2019, the young company has been working on a plant-based shrimp made from soy and mung beans. Interested fish lovers can now try this first product from Happy Ocean Food in a <a href=\"https:\/\/happyoceanfoods.org\/pages\/restaurants\">Munich restaurant also taste it yourself<\/a>, more sales partners will be added soon. Other fish substitute products will also be available in the future. <a href=\"\/en\/63072\/happy-ocean-foods-portrait\/\">According to the two founders Robin Drummond and Julian Hallet<\/a> expand the Happy Ocean Food range. It wants to <a href=\"\/en\/68667\/greenforce-7-questions\/\">&#039;most sustainable plant-based meat in the world&#039;<\/a> Offer an alternative protein source. The startup, founded in 2020 by Thomas Isermann and Hannes-Benjamin Schmitz, has launched vegan burgers, minced meat, and meatballs, among other products. The pea-based meat alternatives are sold in powder form. Only by adding water and oil does a meat-equivalent mass emerge. The company now also offers egg and milk alternatives. Investors also recognized that Greenforce&#039;s products are operating in a growing future market. <a href=\"\/en\/78299\/joko-winterscheidt-and-michael-kaefer-join-greenforce\/\">Joko Winterscheidt and Michael K\u00e4fer<\/a>, who joined the company in a financing round of 15 million euros at the end of 2021.
