Metismotion develops powerful actuators for automation applications. Pneumatic or hydraulic solutions with high power potential can thus be replaced with electrically powered drives. The Munich<\/a> launched their actuator platform in August 2021 Naxture<\/a> successfully launched on the market. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The startup is now focusing on developing intelligent user functions and scaling in-house production. To meet growing demand in the short term, the pre-series and series production capacity at the Munich site is currently being tripled. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rudolf Freytag<\/strong>, CEO of the Siemens Technology Accelerator, says: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

"Metismotion products are already being used by end customers, for example in the process industry, and demonstrate what will be possible in the future with intelligent, electrical actuators under the most demanding environmental conditions. Naxture is now making it even easier for new customers to find their specific solution in the shortest possible time. This marks the first step toward scalable platform technology."<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Metismotion plans second product range mid-year<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Jens Baumg\u00e4rtner<\/strong>, Senior Investment Manager at High-Tech Gr\u00fcnderfonds, adds:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

"For us investors, Metismotion is a great example of how financing hardware innovations works right in the heart of Europe. The goal of the founding team is not just to improve products but also to open up new possibilities for customers, and this precisely matches the goal that the High-Tech Gr\u00fcnderfonds is pursuing with its investments."<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

With the raised capital, the Munich-based company plans to expand its software and IIOT team, strengthening the development of intelligent functions. The Munich-based deep-tech startup Metismotion has completed its third financing round with its investors from the previous financing round in spring 2021: Born2grow, the High-Tech Gr\u00fcnderfonds (HTGF) and the Siemens Technology Accelerator are investing a further 3 million euros in the company.
