Please introduce yourselves briefly!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Imagine: <\/em>Behind StellDirVor is a highly interdisciplinary team \u2013 which is great, as everyone brings high levels of expertise in different areas. Supported by our Advisory Board, we can work towards our common goal in the best possible way. <a href=\"\/en\/startups\/stelldirvor-gmbh\/\">Using technology sensibly and for people<\/a>We came together through our network, which fortunately overlapped in the right places.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our Female Founder Core Team:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Theda Ockenga, 34: As an experienced consultant for organizational development and process optimization, she is responsible for management and sales.<\/li><li>Petra Dahm, 51, is an experienced strategy and communications expert and always an early adopter of new, exciting technologies. Therefore, she is responsible for technology and product development, as well as new innovations.<\/li><li>Sonja Bunzeit, 27: As a consultant for digitalization and marketing, she supports our clients in the use of new technologies and is responsible for the area of marketing and communications.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Our co-founders:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Dr. Mark Weinert, 49: As an active senior physician and communication and de-escalation trainer, he contributes his expertise in the areas of (virtual) simulation and everyday medical practice.<\/li><li>Bramwel Omondi, 33: researches digital transformation and is an international project manager; he brings this expertise to StellDirVor in the scientific validation of our ideas.<\/li><li>Christian St\u00e4hler, 53: As an education expert, he supports us in the development of immersive learning and training models.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u201cUsing immersive technologies, we motivate new professionals to pursue a career in healthcare.\u201d<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Munich Startup: <\/em>What problem does your startup solve?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Imagine: <\/em>As we all know by now, there is a massive shortage of skilled personnel in the healthcare sector. In addition, the German healthcare system ranks second to last in terms of digitalization in this area compared to other countries worldwide. So, it&#039;s time to take action!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.stelldirvor.jetzt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">We tackle the root problem<\/a>We make information easily accessible from anywhere, and bring knowledge to life. Using immersive technologies (VR, AR, XR), we motivate new professionals to pursue careers in healthcare, improve training, continuing education, and continuing professional development (with XR), expand simulation training (with VR), and reduce the burden on everyday practice (with smart AR applications).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We have explained in this video what this could look like for nursing, for example:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"Imagine: Recruitment and training with augmented and virtual reality in nursing\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/yeQYIFizGU0?start=2&#038;feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Munich Startup: <\/em>But that&#039;s been around for a long time!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Imagine: <\/em>Of course, there are already some digital and virtual solutions and concepts in this area. However, what we were missing most was...<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Existing solutions are not designed with people in mind. Technology is often developed without considering users and then implemented top-to-bottom, which usually leads to rejection \u2013 and ultimately, that doesn&#039;t help anyone.<\/li><li>In addition, while there are many individual solutions, there are no holistic approaches. We change this by working with a systemic approach and also relying on accompanying consulting.<\/li><li>Finally, it&#039;s important to remember that digital literacy in healthcare still needs to be actively promoted to increase acceptance of digital technologies. For this reason, we also offer workshops and training courses (to simply get to know and try out extended reality, and then really get a feel for what it&#039;s all about).<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Imagine and digitalization in healthcare<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Munich Startup: <\/em>What have been your three biggest challenges so far?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Imagine: <\/em>As already mentioned, the topic of &quot;digitalization&quot; in healthcare is unfortunately still in its infancy. We have therefore had to do a lot of educational and informational work, which hasn&#039;t always been easy. At the same time, this gives us the opportunity to actively shape a healthy digitalization and future. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No one can hear it anymore, but the coronavirus has obviously had a major impact on us too. On the one hand, the opportunities to try out and test virtual reality applications were severely limited, especially among our target customers in the healthcare sector. On the other hand, many organizations recognized the need (and, at the same time, the acute shortage) for digital and virtual applications. Quick solutions were particularly needed: for example, the AR-based app GiriMed was used to train (temporary) staff at vaccination centers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When it comes to financing and implementing digital solutions, healthcare organizations are often dependent on funding and sponsors, such as local authorities, and cannot make decisions independently. This means that even if the customer is already enthusiastic and sees added value for the company, we still need to engage and win over other decision-makers. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Munich Startup: <\/em>Where would you like to be in one year, where in five years?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Imagine: <\/em>Given the increasing demand for XR solutions in the DACH market, we plan to expand our team in the coming year (please contact us) to implement the growing number of projects. We are also developing additional training content (e.g., for standard learning content and SOPs), which we then plan to make widely available to facilitate access to immersive technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In five years, virtual simulations, immersive learning, and AR support will be part of everyday life in healthcare and an integral part of blended learning concepts. We want to actively promote this by developing our own immersive learning platform for healthcare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Based in Munich Urban Colab<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Munich Startup: <\/em>How do you rate Munich as a startup location?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Imagine: <\/em>As Munich natives, we may be a bit biased \u2013 but especially in the healthcare sector, Munich has been the right choice for us so far. In addition to universities, hospitals, and numerous organizations and cooperation partners, a truly fantastic startup ecosystem has developed here in recent years. Through our collaboration with the City of Munich&#039;s Referat f\u00fcr Arbeit und Wirtschaft, for example, we are located in the new <a href=\"\/en\/day\/munich-urban-colab\/\">Munich Urban Colab<\/a> and appreciate the exchange and opportunities offered by such innovation venues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Munich Startup: <\/em>Isar or English Garden?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Imagine: <\/em>The majority of the StellDirVor team likes to end the evening (in summer) with a beer and a dip in the cool water on the Isar.<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>When it comes to digitalization in healthcare, there&#039;s still room for improvement in Germany.
