The project 'Entrepreneurship & Innovation Introduction Days' by HM and SCE<\/a> was awarded by the Stifterverband Entrepreneurial Skills funding program and will receive funding of \u20ac175,000. The core of the concept is the sustainable establishment of interdisciplinary and cross-faculty introductory days for all first-semester students at HM. The introductory days offer low-threshold, motivating, and playful access to entrepreneurship and innovation, enabling early self-efficacy experiences at the start of the program, and imparting diverse key competencies of an entrepreneurial mindset, such as initiative, a sense of responsibility, and creativity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

"In Germany, we need to rethink education even more consistently and boldly. Now we can help young students experience that each and every individual has the power to develop effective ideas and concepts from scratch in a very short time through interdisciplinary collaboration, creativity, and decisiveness. In this way, all students are taught early on that their university studies will equip them with the necessary skills to face challenges and help shape the future positively and sustainably."<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

says Klaus Kreulich<\/strong>, Vice President for Teaching at the Munich University of Applied Sciences, about the award and summarizes the ambition of the program:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to the University of Applied Sciences, the TU Berlin, Ansbach University of Applied Sciences, Ruhr University Bochum, and Georg August University G\u00f6ttingen were also honored. The universities will each receive \u20ac175,000. Ruhr University Bochum and Georg August University G\u00f6ttingen applied jointly and will receive a total of \u20ac250,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Munich University of Applied Sciences (HM) and its Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship (SCE) business incubator were again successful in the second phase of the Stifterverband's "Entrepreneurial Skills" funding program.
