Lilium goes public<\/strong>: Perhaps the most high-profile exit of 2021 was Lilium's IPO. The Munich-based air taxi company went public on the US technology exchange Nasdaq this summer. IPO for Sono Motors<\/strong>: With Sono Motors, a second Munich-based startup celebrated its stock market debut in 2021, also on the Nasdaq. The Munich-based solar car manufacturer took the step in the fall and placed its shares at a price of $15 each. Messengerpeople became part of Sinch<\/strong>: The Munich-based startup Messengerpeople offers a SaaS solution for messenger communication and has thus become one of the leading providers of conversational messaging in Germany. In September, it was acquired by the Swedish company Sinch for \u20ac48 million. Corrux went to Gropyus:<\/strong> Corrux enables construction managers, operations managers, and development managers in open-pit mines to track the utilization of excavators and other on-site equipment in real time. In July, the startup was acquired by Vienna-based Gropyus. Fintechsystems was acquired by Tink:<\/strong> With the takeover by Tink in May, the eventful history of Fintecsystems reached a temporary climax. Marked by the legal dispute with Klarna subsidiary Sofort, which was settled in 2019, the startup can now focus on Customer service in German-speaking countries<\/a> Tink, based in Stockholm, serves 18 markets from 13 local offices.
