Inecosys, based in the Munich Technology Center (MTZ), was founded in 2014 by three doctoral students from the Technical University of Munich. Since then, the Munich-based company has been supporting its customers in the implementation of embedded projects using the RSD platform. Research and pre-development results are generated in a consistent and agile process on rapid control prototyping systems and then transferred to the requirements of the final series product. This enables customers to achieve significantly accelerated market readiness while simultaneously reducing overall development costs. In recent years, Inecosys has also developed a special focus on control and electronic systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the summer of 2018, the startup<\/a> secured a seed investment from the High-Tech Gr\u00fcnderfonds. Now, it plans to explore new avenues together with the Hatz engine factory in Ruhstorf, Lower Bavaria. Co-founder Benjamin Korb explains:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With Inecosys to emission-free drives<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Hatz CEO Bernd Kr\u00fcper<\/strong> says:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

"We are currently undergoing a transformation process, from a diesel engine specialist to a technology-neutral drive manufacturer. Even though our engines already meet the strictest emissions standards and are benchmarks in their class, our long-term goal, in addition to reduced-emission combustion engines, is 'zero emissions' \u2013 the emission-free operation of our drives."<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The acquisition of Inecosys is the latest culmination of an innovation offensive at Hatz. The Munich-based startup will cooperate closely with the research and development team at Hatz Engine Factory and work together on the drives of the future. Hatz's Chief Technology Officer, Simon Thierfelder<\/strong>, states:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

"The products of tomorrow will be fully electronically controlled and have their own artificial intelligence. In the future, hybrid solutions and electrified drive systems will be incorporated into our planning alongside alternative fuels. The expertise of our newest addition to the company will greatly assist us in transforming these visions into market-ready innovations."<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Kr\u00fcper adds:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

"With the technological expertise that Inecosys brings to the Hatz Group, we are perfectly positioned for the challenges of the future, from digitalization to electrification. This will enable us to increase our innovation speed and bring innovative drive solutions to market faster. We look forward to future projects with the Munich team."<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
