Nearly 40 applications from the four participating cities were accepted for the public voting of the Startup Champ competition. Three startups from each city ultimately prevailed and were able to pitch to a select jury today. Munich was chosen in the final by Treesense<\/a>, Zwopr<\/a> and GuudCard<\/a> The Munich jury representative, Laurin Hahn, co-founder of Sono Motors, chose Treesense as the Munich champ after a head-to-head race. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Semir Babajic<\/strong>, representative of Treesense, says:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

"We're incredibly proud to be following in the footsteps of Nachhilferocks and Presize. The event was incredibly well-organized, and the jury's feedback was outstanding, giving us continued strength for the challenges ahead."<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Arno Eggers<\/strong>, Project Manager at Munich Startup and Moderator for Munich, says: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

"The new champion has been chosen, and we hope to hear a lot more from Treesense. We're pleased that we were able to reach even more viewers this year than last year and are already looking forward to the next edition. As the Munich winner, Treesense will receive \u20ac500 in free rides with Sixt Share, a sponsored team event at Werk1 with drinks from the Velo.Bar, two annual memberships at Design Offices, and a half-day workshop with PwC. This year, Germany's Startup Champ was crowned for the second time. The startup hotspots of Hamburg, Berlin, Cologne, and Munich once again joined forces to organize a pitch event.
