Pepper Motion<\/a> is converting buses and trucks with modern, all-electric powertrains. The Denkendorf-based company will be supported by Twaice in the development and operation of its electric vehicles. The Munich-based startup's predictive analytics software will make the service life and cost-effectiveness of the batteries used in its vehicles transparent. The battery analytics will estimate and forecast the condition of vehicle batteries, analyze long-term battery performance, predict maintenance requirements, adjust warranty commitments, and determine a realistic residual value. Furthermore, the Twaice software will provide drivers with targeted usage recommendations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Strategic technology partner<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

"Twaice is an important strategic technology partner for us. With the software, we can not only analyze the aging process of batteries, but also derive various life cycles and application scenarios that are valuable for our customers and our product development," <\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Undiscovered potential<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The technology behind it is provided by Twaice with its predictive analytics software. The software of the Munich-based startup, which just completed a Series B round of more than 21 million euros in May<\/a>, can use artificial intelligence to determine the battery condition and predict the aging and performance of lithium-ion batteries. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
