The focus is on ecological and social issues in German-speaking countries. On the ecological side, this includes topics such as sustainable agriculture, resource conservation, renewable energy, e-mobility, and climate protection measures. On the social side, the Munich-based impact investor supports innovative business models in care and healthcare, inclusion, education, and equal opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u201cWork on the global challenges of our time is gaining momentum\u201d<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Bonventure IV is the fourth fund of the Munich-based Bonventure Group. The target volume for the final closing in the fall is \u20ac40 million, almost twice as high as the previous Fund III. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>&quot;The market for social enterprises has been developing very positively for several years. The companies are professionally positioned, and their work on the global challenges of our time is gaining momentum and attracting a growing clientele. This is also reflected in our current fund, Bonventure III, and its performance: After just over half its term, we&#039;re already at nearly ten percent financial return. And when social enterprises are financially successful, their social impact also increases,&quot; <\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>thinks <strong>Erwin Stahl<\/strong>, Managing Partner at Bonventure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Social impact as an integral component<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The fund has a fixed term of ten years, with an extension option of two years. The investment period is within the first five years. The prerequisite for Bonventure&#039;s investment is that the social impact of a social enterprise is an integral part of its business model. With this in mind, Bonventure has already invested in Munich-based startups such as <a href=\"\/en\/29443\/bonventure-nearbees\/\">nearBees<\/a> and <a href=\"\/en\/74384\/sira-childcare-receives-seven-figure-investment\/\">Sira<\/a>Together with the social enterprises, the Munich-based investor also developed an impact reporting system to measure and demonstrate the social impact of the companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bonventure.de\/invest\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Interested parties can inquire about investment opportunities here until the final closing in autumn 2021<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Successful second closing for Munich-based impact investor Bonventure: While a first closing in December 2020 already raised almost \u20ac20 million, Fund IV currently stands at \u20ac35 million.
