With the funding, Secfix now plans to further develop its first product, a marketplace for security-testing hackers. The startup's goal is Making finding pentesters as easy as ordering a pizza<\/a>. A software solution will also be implemented to automate ISO 27001. This is a globally used security standard that helps companies protect their systems and secure their data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fabiola Munguia<\/strong>, Co-Founder of Secfix, says:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

"Our motto is always: Make it as easy as ordering a pizza. We want to help companies become secure and compliant without having to invest thousands of hours."<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

In addition, the startup plans to further expand its partner network of certified auditors and pentesting companies. To this end, Secfix is developing all necessary integrations for its customer software, gradually adding additional certifications such as TISAX, PCI DSS, HIPAA, and NIST. Secfix's own certifications are also planned to follow, creating a leading, holistic security monitoring platform for SMEs. Finally, the Munich-based company also plans to use the new financing round to expand its team and invest in marketing and sales, as well as corporate development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Well-known angels invest in Secfix<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The funding round came from, among others, Hotel.de founders Torsten Sturm, Heinz Raufer, and Reinhard Wick. Raufer and Wick are also known as Flixbus's first investors. Other participants in the round included Heinrich Arnold, former CEO of Detecon International and Head of Research at Telekom; Paul Taffee, CEO of Finance People Solutions and former CFO of Pepsi Cola, Nike, and Dell Germany; Sarah Wolff, CEO of I-Welt; and Andrea Lederer, Director of Market Management at Expedia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
