Personio is institutionalizing remote working for a post-coronavirus era. Effective immediately, the more than 800 employees at its four locations in Munich, Madrid, Dublin, and London can choose between working in the office and another location in Germany or abroad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Personio: \u201cOffice will continue to be an important place in the future\u201d<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Munich unicorn company<\/a> However, it continues to aim for 50 percent office presence for its employees. The remaining working hours can be completed remotely. The mandatory office presence is intended to "promote collaboration and team spirit," according to a company statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

"Coronavirus was and remains the ultimate practical test for many companies, changing the way employers and employees think about where and how they want to work. The past few months have also shown that many employees are extremely productive and successful even when working from home\u2014a lesson we should not lose sight of when thinking about the future of work."<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Other companies will also have to face the challenge of finding a new balance between on-site and remote work.
