Easy-Tutor offers an online tutoring platform for students, pupils, and their parents. They can choose from more than 700 active and individually vetted tutors. The capital increase reflects the young company's strong growth: More than 4,000 pupils are already using the service. The startup was founded in 2017 and now has 30 employees\u2014twice as many as before. a year ago<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A key part of the startup's development is its cooperation partners. For example, the youth departments of around one-third of Bundesliga clubs use the online tutoring service, including FC Bayern Munich, Bayer Leverkusen, Fortuna D\u00fcsseldorf, Eintracht Frankfurt, and Union Berlin. The company also has numerous partnerships with well-known large corporations such as Otto, Arag, and Witt, whose employees can access Easy-Tutor's services for their children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDigital way of learning\u201d<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Massimo Cancellara<\/strong>, Managing Director of Easy-Tutor, explains:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

"We are convinced that the human factor must not be lost in the digitalization of schools and education. At Easy-Tutor, we have pursued this idea from the very beginning: to give children and adolescents the opportunity to learn directly from others. Thanks to the renewed support of industry-experienced investors, we can further expand our team, further differentiate Easy-Tutor's offering, and further optimize the platform. This way, we can make this new, digital way of learning available to even more students in the future."<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The new funds will be used to recruit additional staff and further develop the platform's technology. The offering portfolio will also be expanded, including group exercises and on-demand tutoring. The launch of an app is also planned for the end of the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Roman Huber<\/strong>, Managing Director of Bavaria Capital<\/a>, says:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Munich-based edtech startup Easy Tutor has once again attracted investors following a six-figure investment in May 2020. The funding comes from existing investors Bayern Kapital and a consortium of industry-experienced business angels.
