[\u2026] but with Air Up, I took the chance to realize my ideas." And success proves her right, like a Series A financing of 18 million euros<\/a> at the beginning of the year. Christina Polleti from Cluno:<\/strong> Christina Polleti and her husband Nico founded the mobility startup Cluno together with a long-time friend, Andreas Schuierer \u2013 after they had sold their first team startup, Easyautosale, to Autoscout24 in 2015. She told Munich Startup about her strengths<\/a>: "In our founding team, I am the one who intuitively puts together many small mosaic pieces to create a picture and thus has a very good sense for future opportunities as well as challenges. I initiate measures and initiatives early on that prove to be important later." About their intention to found she tells in an interview<\/a>"My motivation was to make AI accessible and usable in a meaningful and responsible way for people in a wide variety of\u2014and especially everyday\u2014application areas and situations." Schuller doesn't identify with role models like Bill Gates or Elon Musk. She says: "As a founder, you always want to create something new and are motivated to develop further. Since then, their company has established itself as Germany's leading bathroom renovation company for private customers. W\u00e4chter does not think much of networking strategies<\/a>: "I see the people and their personalities \u2013 not the contact that might help me later." With this attitude, Zarah Bruhn founded the startup Social-Bee together with Maximilian Felsner in 2016. This made it the first temporary employment agency to actively integrate refugees into the job market and society. When asked about her greatest talent, she says Interview with Munich Startup<\/a>"Kick, kick, kick. Rethink. Do. Nothing is impossible. I would describe myself as a 30\/70 person. I usually hammer out the first 30 percent, the ones that hurt the most and require a lot of energy, and get the ball rolling. According to the Female Founders Monitor, 165 of 1,510 startups in Munich have a woman on their founding team, which is just 10.9 percent. Nationwide, however, the proportion of female founders averaged 19 percent between 2016 and 2018, according to the KfW (KfW German Development Bank). So, Munich has some catching up to do.
