AM Ventures<\/a>, venture capitalist in additive manufacturing based in Starnberg, is launching a 100 million euro investment fund focusing exclusively on industrial 3D printing<\/a>The main partners in the joint venture are the Langer Group, the previous sole shareholder of AM Ventures, and Kgal, an investment and asset manager for real estate investments in Europe. The venture capital fund focuses on early-stage and growth startups from around the world that develop and market industrial 3D printing hardware, software, materials, and applications. Hans Langer<\/strong>, founding partner of the fund and representative of the Langer Group, explains:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

"After six years of successful 3D printing startup investments, we have decided to take AM Ventures to the next level together with the international investment and asset manager Kgal. I am grateful for the successes the AM Ventures team has achieved since its founding in 2015 and am very pleased to continue working with the former managing directors as current managing partners in the fund. This step represents a great opportunity for 3D printing startups from all over the world and will help further accelerate additive manufacturing as a key technology for future production."<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

In addition to the Langer Group and the managing partners Johann Oberhofer and Arno Held, Kgal is also a co-shareholder in the new AM Ventures Management GmbH. Klaus Wolf<\/strong>, Chief Investment Officer of Kgal, said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AM Ventures is launching with a strong investor base thanks to several multi-million dollar investments. In addition to the Langer Group, Kgal, and Kgal shareholders, other private individuals and entrepreneurs have joined as initial limited partners. The fund's final subscription close is expected in spring 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
