Annika Breu<\/em>, Oh my! Fantasy:<\/em> I am Annika (27) and the founder of Oh my! Fantasy<\/a>Already during my studies I was involved in a project on CDTM (Center for Digital Technology and Management)<\/a> I came into contact with the sexual wellness market and was immediately fascinated. After three years of consulting at Bain, I took the plunge and started my own business: In collaboration with experienced sex coaches, we offer exciting couple fantasies in the form of love letters with precise instructions for both partners \u2013 if desired, with matching erotic accessories and sex toys in the love box. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cPleasure is your birthright\u201d<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

True to the motto "Pleasure is your Birthright," it is particularly important to me to create a framework in which female desire can fully unfold. This clearly distinguishes Oh My! Fantasy's approach from any pornographic depictions, which still quite often shape our image of sexuality. The date night offerings range from sensual experiences like slow sex or oral sex, to playful erotic adventures like body painting or steamy photo sessions, to more intense experiences like bondage or an introduction to anal play. The range of erotic adventures is constantly expanding. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Munich Startup:<\/em> So far, your shop offers \u201cfantasy cards\u201d \u2013 will there be more products coming? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Annika Breu:<\/em> The fantasy cards are just the beginning: Optionally, you can also order the matching erotic accessories and sex toys in the love box. A stopover on the journey to your own pleasure are the pleasure rituals of our sex coaches. \u2013<\/strong> These are currently taking place online via Zoom in your own living room. These workshops are a magical place to bask in self-love and connect with your own pleasure. They usually take place offline, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, they're now online. This actually lowers the barriers to entry considerably: everyone can decide for themselves whether to turn video and sound on or off. I've also recently started offering the #Pleasuretalk format on IGTV: There, I talk with experts about exciting topics related to pleasure. An important building block on the path to an open discussion about these topics. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Munich Startup<\/em>: What has been your biggest challenge so far? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Annika Breu<\/em>:<\/em> With Oh my! Fantasy, we advocate for an open discussion about the topics of sex and desire in relationships \u2013 still a major taboo. I had somewhat underestimated how big this taboo actually is, perhaps because I move in a very open "bubble" when it comes to these topics. But I want to advocate for it! In the USA, the whole topic of sex, love, and relationship coaching is much more developed than in Germany \u2013 I am convinced that awareness is gradually growing here too, and that it is extremely important to talk about your own preferences in a relationship. A fulfilling relationship requires both partners to share their intimate wishes and desires with each other and to continually discover each other. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Advertising on Instagram is not easy <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If couples manage to clearly articulate their preferences in bed, everyday communication also becomes easier. Open and honest communication creates intimacy, which in turn builds trust and closeness \u2013 two important ingredients for a happy relationship. In addition, major platforms have strict restrictions regarding sexual content: Instagram tightened its rules again in December. This doesn't exactly make advertising easy. But we're staying creative and hope that these restrictions will gradually diminish in an increasingly open society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Munich Startup:<\/em> How is business going?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Annika Breu<\/em>:<\/em> Over the first six months, we developed an initial "basic range" of couple fantasies. Testing the fantasies plays a key role in this. We have a "test pool" of couples who try out each fantasy and provide feedback before it's launched. This way, we can ensure that the date nights really spark chemistry and that the couples can fully commit to the experience. The response so far has been very encouraging, and we've received a lot of support, especially from women. Demand for our couple fantasies increased significantly, especially during the Christmas season, and we've sent out around 200 couple fantasies so far. So, things are actually already going well. This encourages me to continue and expand the offering. The lockdown period, in particular, is actually a good time to consciously take time for a date night at home and keep your relationship exciting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Annika Breu<\/em>:<\/em> We believe our product is truly "hot" and has the potential to help countless people on their journey to a more fulfilling relationship with themselves and their partner. Add to that the fact that we're one of the first providers in this new market \u2013 the timing is perfect. Besides, the theme of pleasure is truly universal, so it would certainly be interesting for couples in other countries to try something new in bed? So, please, the unicorn option!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Munich Startup:<\/em> Quick exit or long breath? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Annika Breu<\/em>:<\/em> Perseverance. Giving up isn't an option; the topic is far too important for that: The goal is to initiate the journey of discovery into one's own pleasure and to fully develop one's own pleasure potential.
