In addition to the relatively high sum for a seed round, another fact about Deepc\u2019s financing is striking: Munich-based medtech startup<\/a> is currently still operating in stealth mode, making it barely visible to the public. The capital comes from an unnamed but "well-known healthcare investor." The Munich-based company is also supported by the Initiative for Industrial Innovators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Founded in 2019, the startup is developing AI software for imaging diagnostics, which aims to radically transform the work processes of radiologists. Bettina Scheibe <\/strong>from Industrial Innovators says:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhat we particularly like about the technology developed by Deepc is the outstanding benefits that the medical devices offer users and the possibility of scaling the system to many other medical diagnostic applications in the future, both nationally and internationally.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Deepc plans to invest in products and customer acquisition<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Franz Pfister<\/strong>, CEO and co-founder of Deepc, adds: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

"We are very pleased about this great trust. We will invest the capital in the further scaling of our products and in our customer development. A big thank you also goes to our supporters in the Munich healthcare and venture ecosystem such as TUM, Baystartup<\/a> and the incubator Plant1<\/a>.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Deepc has already won a number of awards. In 2020, the Munich-based company was honored with the Founders' Award from the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy as the main winner, and also received the special award in the field of health. The Eugen M\u00fcnch Prize from the M\u00fcnch Foundation and the Munich Digital Innovation Award also went to the startup in 2019.
