On the one hand, the past 12 months of the pandemic feel like an eternity. On the other hand, looking back, it seems incredible how quickly we all adapted to a new way of life. Also astonishing is the relative composure with which people are dealing with constantly changing situations and the pandemic-related deprivation of some basic rights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Startups can survive crises<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Startups are <em>by design<\/em> perfect for unexpected situations. One of the most important features, <a href=\"\/en\/63013\/startup-start-up-company\/\">that distinguishes startups from traditional companies<\/a>, is their enormous adaptability. Startups can handle crises. This has also been clearly demonstrated by the Corona virus: startups whose market collapsed from one moment to the next have reoriented themselves, created new business models, launched new products, <a href=\"\/en\/59894\/inveox-supplies-clinics-and-laboratories-with-corona-equipment\/\">existing supply chains are being put at the service of combating Corona<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the onset of the pandemic in March 2020, we launched our video series #CoronaUpdate. We wanted to report on how Munich startups are dealing with the unprecedented situation. So we let the startup founders and employees speak for themselves. They were asked to tell us how they were doing, whether there was still a market for their products, how they reacted, and whether they were able to operate successfully even during the crisis. The interest in the video series was enormous, both among startups and our audience. In retrospect \u2013 last year sometimes already seems like a time long gone \u2013 the <a href=\"\/en\/day\/corona-update\/\">#CoronaUpdates<\/a> an exciting contemporary document on how startups deal with a completely unpredictable situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What will #TheWorldbelikeafterCorona?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We want to continue the idea that inspired us to launch #CoronaUpdate a year ago. That&#039;s why we&#039;ve launched a new video series. It will take a look into the future and take stock of the coronavirus pandemic \u2013 as if the virus were already behind us. What will remain once the coronavirus pandemic is history? What will the post-coronavirus world look like?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To find out, we once again asked Munich-based startups to shoot videos and send them to us. We will prepare and edit the videos and produce our new video series. <a href=\"\/en\/day\/theworldaftercorona\/\">#TheWorldAfterCorona<\/a>This time, we would also like to publicly call on Munich startups to participate: <a href=\"mailto:s.tischer@munich-startup.de\">Write to us<\/a> and maybe you&#039;ll have the next opportunity to tell your story in #TheWorldAfterCorona.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first video from the series #DieWeltnachCorona with <a href=\"\/en\/68788\/theworldaftercorona-with-mr-beam-lasers-this-will-not-simply-turn-back-completely\/\">Mr Beam Lasers<\/a> We&#039;ve already published it.
