Megadev, developer of the single-player experience platform Plitch, announces the completion of its \u20ac1.6 million Series A investment round. The round is led by Stuttgart-based early-stage investor Engelhardt Kaupp Kiefer & Co., with participation from existing investors and a group of private investors, including Ritter Sport CEO Andreas Ronken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Plitch platform aims to enable a new level of game customization for over 2,500 single-player PC games with its features. Depending on skills and preferences, repetitive, difficult, or even "too easy" game situations can be changed with a click or a self-selected key combination by removing or increasing resources, avatar abilities, or strengthening or weakening enemies. The platform aims to create a win-win situation for both gamers and game publishers\/developers, as customization increases the fun factor and thus the playing time and game sales \u2013 with a clear distinction between multiplayer and competitive games. The assistant is offered as a subscription model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fun on an individual level<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For Engelhardt Kaupp Kiefer & Co., Plitch is the second investment in the games industry. The Stuttgart-based early-stage investor was the first investor in ESL Gaming<\/a>The current investment in Megadev aims to establish Pitch as a global standard for customizing the gaming experience and to further expand the use of trainers and mods for single-player games in order to increase their longevity and optimize the gaming experience for gamers.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
