In the &#039;New Space,&#039; young companies are increasingly developing new technologies and business models. Even today, tiny satellites, so-called small satellites and cube satellites, are launched into space almost daily. Elon Musk&#039;s SpaceX alone launches 60 to 120 satellites per month. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">High demand<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Due to these developments, there is high demand for satellite components that can store large parts such as solar panels and antennas in a space-saving manner during rocket launch. They can then be reliably deployed in space. Dcubed aims to achieve precisely this with its actuators and deployable structures, cost-effectively and flexibly, even for small satellites. To achieve this, the Munich-based company is using new manufacturing methods such as 3D printing. This enables the startup to develop innovative products that meet the needs of New Space customers and are small, user-friendly, quickly deliverable, and cost-effective. This allows large structures such as solar panels or antennas to be deployed in space at the push of a button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Dcubed has already convinced many international customers <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Munich-based space technology company has already acquired numerous international customers for applications in low-Earth orbit, as well as for missions to the Moon. Among them is the US company Astrobotic from Pittsburgh, USA, which is planning various lunar missions for 2021 and 2023, respectively. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Thomas Sinn,<\/strong> Co-founder and CEO of Dcubed, says:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>&quot;We are very pleased to have found important partners in HTGF and ILV who have recognized the potential of &#039;New Space made in Germany&#039; and are working with us to establish series products in space travel, thus driving forward the development of commercial space travel.&quot;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Accelerate space missions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Christian Ziach<\/strong>, Investment Manager at <a href=\"\/en\/60149\/htgf-interview\/\">HTGF <\/a>and himself an aerospace engineer, assesses the startup&#039;s development potential as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u201cThomas Sinn and his team have an excellent understanding of customers and the market and are extremely adept at addressing the opportunities that arise.\u201d <\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Guido Grotz<\/strong>, CEO of ILV, adds:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>&quot;We were impressed by the expertise and mindset of the Dcubed team.
