The robotics startup had just successfully completed a <a href=\"\/en\/59276\/agile-robots-receives-multi-million-funding\/\">Series A financing round<\/a> with an eight-figure sum. Agile Robots also survived the Corona crisis relatively unscathed, as Head of Communications Tanja Barschow <a href=\"\/en\/64876\/coronaupdate-agile-robots\/\">#CoronaUpdate<\/a> explained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Directly following in second place is Fairafric, the next young company from the state capital. Since 2016, the Munich-based company has been producing chocolate from bean to bar directly in Ghana. The startup, which has successfully completed several crowdfunding rounds, aims to contribute to increasing incomes and creating jobs in developing countries, as well as making these countries&#039; trade relations with industrialized nations fairer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Third place goes to Bable from Stuttgart, a smart city community that collects use cases, solutions, and products. In addition, <a href=\"\/en\/ecosystem\/map\/presize-ai\/\">Presize<\/a> A third startup from Munich made it into the top 10, ranking 8th. The company&#039;s software uses the smartphone camera to measure the user&#039;s clothing measurements for online retail. With this solution, the startup has already won several awards, including the <a href=\"\/en\/61585\/presize-startup-champ-2020\/\">\u201cStartup Champ 2020\u201d<\/a> or finally the <a href=\"\/en\/66866\/bavarian-innovation-prize-2020-2\/\">\u201cInnovation Prize Bavaria 2020\u201d<\/a>The Munich-based Carsten Maschmeyer also had the opportunity to see him during his appearance on the TV show <a href=\"\/en\/65493\/presize-lions-den\/\">\u201cThe Lion\u2019s Den\u201d<\/a> as an investor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Munich companies among the top 100<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Glassdollar startup ranking includes many other startups from Munich and the surrounding area. A total of 17 of the top 100 companies come from the state capital:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><a href=\"\/en\/59827\/seed-financing-round-scompler\/\">Scompler<\/a>, provider of a software-as-a-service solution for strategic content management (23rd place)<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amplitude-app.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">amplitude<\/a>who have developed an app for private financial management (24th place)<\/li><li>the proptech\/real estate startup <a href=\"\/en\/ecosystem\/map\/limehome-gmbh\/\">Limehome<\/a> (32nd place)<\/li><li><a href=\"\/en\/ecosystem\/map\/reinvent-innovation-gmbh\/\">Reinvent<\/a>, developer of a software solution for construction projects (33rd place)<\/li><li>the coffee-to-go deposit system <a href=\"\/en\/ecosystem\/map\/recup-gmbh\/\">Recup<\/a> (36th place)<\/li><li><a href=\"\/en\/41200\/7-questions-cake-gossip\/\">Cake gossip<\/a>, a social startup where seniors bake together (44th place)<\/li><li>the specialist for sustainable energy technology <a href=\"\/en\/58013\/wegatech-financing\/\">Wegatech<\/a> (46th place)<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.alaiko.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Alaiko<\/a>, provider of a plug-and-play solution for e-commerce fulfillment (ranked 54)<\/li><li><a href=\"\/en\/ecosystem\/map\/design-ai\/\">Design AI<\/a>, Developer of AI use cases (74th place)<\/li><li>the product design specialists <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mvst.co\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">VAT<\/a> (81st place)<\/li><li><a href=\"\/en\/ecosystem\/map\/crashtest-security-gmbh\/\">Crashtest Security<\/a>, provider of a cloud-based security scanning service for web application developers (ranked 85th)<\/li><li>the all-in-one HR platform provider <a href=\"\/en\/ecosystem\/map\/kiwiihr\/\">KiwiHR<\/a> (90th place)<\/li><li>the e-health startup with a focus on physiotherapy and health prevention <a href=\"\/en\/ecosystem\/map\/temedica\/\">Temedica<\/a> (98th place)<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.immocation.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Real Estate<\/a>, which supports people in building wealth with real estate (99th place)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">About the Startup Ranking<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.glassdollar.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Glass Dollar<\/a> In addition to analyzing key company figures such as the number of employees or a startup&#039;s funding, it also analyzes metrics such as website visits and social media success.
