And <strong>Thilo Liebermann<\/strong>, Head of Customer Advisory Service Industries <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sap.com\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SAP<\/a>, is sure:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u201cWe are well aware of the great potential that lies in collaborating with founders; after all, our company was an archetypal startup at the time.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Founded in 1972 by five former IBM employees under the name &#039;System Analysis Program Development,&#039; SAP today employs over 100,000 people worldwide. The publicly listed software company is still headquartered in Walldorf, Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Are startup solutions also compatible with existing applications?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>ITHM Managing Director Gnam explains how important support for startups in technical integration into insurers\u2019 existing systems is:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>&quot;An essential part of our innovation programs are the business development sessions, in which the founders&#039; business models are thoroughly tested. Representatives of our partner companies repeatedly ask the question: &#039;Is your solution compatible with the applications we use in-house?&#039; Logically, the name SAP is often mentioned.&quot;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Accelerated digitalization of the insurance industry due to Corona<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>And<strong> Johannes Wagner<\/strong>, Board Member of ITHM and Head of Startup Cooperation at Versicherungskammer Bayern, says:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>&quot;The coronavirus crisis is acting as a powerful accelerator for digitalization in our industry.
