The doctor of organizational sociology Sandy Gl\u00fcckstein<\/strong> specializes in buttock care with its Pobeau cosmetics line. The range includes products for acne, firming, and bleaching.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cButtock care is currently still a niche product,\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Gl\u00fcckstein said in the TV show broadcast yesterday on Vox:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBut I believe that people will become more open and the boundaries of shame will be lowered.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

To take her product out of its niche, the Munich-based entrepreneur sought an investment of \u20ac200,000 and offered ten percent of her company shares. According to the founder, she has already invested over \u20ac100,000 in the development of the product and the production of the first batch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pobeau fails to respond to the assessment<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In Judith Williams, the founder found an investor interested in the topic. Dagmar W\u00f6hrl, who participated in a previous season of the bidetStartup<\/a> Happypo was probably among the targeted investors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A key reason no deal was reached was the company's asking valuation of \u20ac2 million. The company has only recently entered the market and therefore hasn't yet generated any significant revenue. Another drawback: clinical studies on the product's effectiveness had not yet been completed at the time of the pitch. Gl\u00fcckstein was also unable to provide any other evidence of the product's effectiveness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the end, neither Williams nor W\u00f6hrl nor any of the other three investors present, Carsten Maschmeyer, Nils Glagau and Ralf D\u00fcmmel, took the plunge. Judith Williams <\/strong>was impressed by the founder and said on the show:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

"That was the first round. Maybe you'll come back sometime and we'll see Dr. Gl\u00fcckstein, who has taken two, three, four, five steps further. And then an offer comes along that you can really take seriously."<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
