The Mobility House develops and sells charging stations, accessories, and management solutions for electric vehicles. With Chargepilot, the Munich company<\/a> has developed an intelligent energy management solution that enables the control of vehicle fleets' energy consumption during charging and minimizes power peaks. The solution also enables bidirectional charging, also known as vehicle-to-grid (V2G), in which electricity from idle electric vehicles is fed back into the grid. This is intended to stabilize the power grid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With a loan of \u20ac15 million, the EIB is now supporting this solution to bring more electric vehicles onto the road across Europe and integrate them into the electricity grid in an optimized and cost-efficient manner. The electric vehicles will also be used as energy storage devices in the electricity grid, which in turn will promote the expansion of renewable energies. EIB<\/a> With its support, it finances the company's activities in Germany, France, the Netherlands, and other European countries. The funds come from the current EU research and innovation program Horizon 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
