Individual training, coaching, and mentoring \u2013 over the next 20 weeks, participating startups can receive extensive support to prepare for the next round of financing and advance their company's scaling. In addition, the selected startups will conduct a pilot project with one of Techfounders' corporate partners, Aldi Nord and Aldi S\u00fcd, Datev, Festo, Knorr-Bremse, and Miele. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the upcoming batch, Techfounders<\/a> There's also a startup working on a solution to address the coronavirus crisis. The selected team prevailed over numerous other applicants and is now receiving support on its path to a successful market launch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participation in the accelerator program can pay off. According to a survey by Techfounders, 92 percent of the program's alumni startups are still active. Since 2015, Techfounders alumni startups have raised a total of nearly \u20ac300 million in funding and created over 1,700 jobs. Well-known startups such as Konux, Proglove, and Inveox have also completed the program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ebenbuild<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Munich-based startup Ebenbuild offers a solution that could be life-saving for patients with Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS), a condition that can be caused by serious illnesses such as COVID-19. In ARDS, the lungs cannot adequately supply the body's vital organs with oxygen, and mechanical ventilators are a mandatory part of treatment. The startup, founded by Kei M\u00fcller and Jonas Biehler, has developed software that uses computed tomography and machine learning to create a virtual, patient-specific digital twin of the lungs. This enables automated, personalized, and precise prediction of the optimal ventilation mode, which can be used anywhere, from highly specialized to outsourced hospitals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ecomply<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ecomply offers a complete solution for GDPR compliance, making data protection and data protection management a seamless process for companies. The Munich-based startup's solution reduces the complexity of GDPR and guides companies step by step through the process of complying with national data protection legislation. Its service is designed to save companies the cost and hassle of hiring an external consultant and remind them of upcoming data protection tasks. Ecomply's corporate partner is Datev.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fotonow<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

With its AI-powered visual production inspection system, Fotonow helps identify a wide range of typical quality issues in manufacturing. The Munich-based startup's product lowers manufacturing costs by reducing the number of production interruptions and manual inspections. The solution is ideal for frequently changing, high-value production processes, such as those in the automotive industry. Fotonow can be integrated into existing manufacturing and corporate systems and works with virtually any type of camera, including those found in smartphones. Festo is a corporate partner of the startup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fixed first<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Berlin-based Fixfirst keeps household appliances alive and supports the global transition to a circular economy. The startup's AI-powered software offers users error analysis and remote video consultations from local repair service providers, manufacturers, retailers, and insurance companies. It also offers bookings for inspections and repairs and recommends sustainable appliances. The solution is designed to extend the lifespan of appliances and save consumers from waiting for customer service. The startup was founded by Sebastian Daus and aligns with the ambitions of the European Commission's Circular Economy Action Plan. Miele is the corporate partner of the Berlin startup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Betterfish<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Berlin-based Betterfish is introducing the latest food trend. The startup's sustainable food products combine organic European seafood with locally grown vegetables. The company's founders, Jacob Von Manteuffel and Deniz Ficicioglu, are committed to promoting a positive impact on the oceans and the maritime industry. The startup's sea salad won PETA's 2020 Vegan Food Award, and the company's next product expansion will be a plant-based alternative to tuna. Aldi Nord and Aldi S\u00fcd are corporate partners of the Berlin startup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mushlabs<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finding sustainable and waste-free food sources \u2013 this is the approach Mushlabs is committed to. The startup aims to bring together the food industry, sustainability, and technology. The company is creating the next generation of sustainable food from the living organisms whose fruiting bodies are fungi. The Berlin-based startup believes in the power of biotechnology to change the way people eat by producing tastier, healthier, and more sustainable food. Mushlabs supports Aldi Nord and Aldi S\u00fcd as corporate partners. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sause offers a sustainable and vegan alternative to conventional liquid soap. The Munich-based startup's effervescent tablets dissolve easily in tap water, making them significantly lighter and smaller than the water-based 1TP1410 tablets. The weight reduction leads to reduced transport costs and CO2 emissions, and the packaging is completely plastic-free. The startup was founded by Moritz Simsch and Sebastian Jung. Both want to offer clever and sustainable solutions that enable people to maintain their usual level of comfort without exploiting the planet. The Munich startup's corporate partners are Aldi Nord and Aldi S\u00fcd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pylot<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Munich-based Pylot is making autonomous driving a reality. The startup is building a software platform for teleoperations that enables autonomous vehicles to be truly driverless. Their platform was developed in collaboration with various German manufacturers and combines the power of artificial and human intelligence. The founders firmly believe that the power of new mobility will transform the world by making it greener, safer, and more connected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Weavair<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Weavair, based in Toronto, Canada, improves indoor air quality. The startup develops solutions for indoor air quality problems using AI, advanced sensors, and secure blockchain technology. Its data-driven solution for ventilation systems can help predict problems early and prevent the spread of infections and contamination. Furthermore, the solution optimizes the system's energy efficiency, reducing energy consumption by up to 20 percent. Knorr-Bremse is a corporate partner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Webtotem<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The startup from Warsaw, Poland, offers a personal AI-powered security assistant that keeps websites secure, whether for small businesses with a single website or large enterprises. The solution covers all stages of cyberattacks and detects outdated third-party components. It also provides risk calculations and security recommendations. The company has already won awards at major international hacking competitions.
