Investor Georg Matheis is leading the financing round. In addition to existing investors, several other entrepreneurs and investors are participating in the seed round.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through digital monitoring of inhalation treatments, the Kata app aims to improve patient quality and reduce the costs of intensive care. The app is certified as a medical device. Visionhealth intends to use the funding to advance the approval process in Germany. The goal is for health insurance companies to reimburse the costs of the app. The company is also preparing <a href=\"\/en\/46528\/7-questions-vision-health\/\">Startup<\/a> is planning to enter the German market and wants to expand the functionality of the app and validate it clinically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sabine H\u00e4u\u00dfermann<\/strong>, CEO and founder of Visionhealth, says: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>&quot;We are very pleased that we have been able to generate such strong interest and support for our business model and are also proud to have successfully completed the financing round recently. We are confident that with Kata, we are bringing a medical device to market that will sustainably improve patients&#039; daily lives and inhalation therapy. We now have the resources to integrate additional inhalers into our system and make the features of the Kata app accessible to an even broader patient group.&quot;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u201cVisionhealth has assembled an excellent team\u201d <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The seed investor <strong>Georg Matheis<\/strong> says: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>&quot;The therapeutic potential of Kata is very high for a wide range of patients with asthma or COPD.
