Among this year&#039;s recipients is the Munich-based founder of Social-Bee.   <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 2019 Female Founders Award was presented in Berlin. The award, established by AmChamGermany, evaluates not only the innovative strength of the business model but also financing and growth figures. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u201cWe are delighted to honor three passionate female founders and their successful and promising business models with the Female Founders Award,\u201d <\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>said <strong>Eveline Metzen<\/strong>, Managing Director of AmCham Germany. Jury member <strong>Torsten Oltmanns<\/strong>, Chairman of the Berlin Chapter of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amcham.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"AmCham Germany (opens in new tab)\">AmCham Germany<\/a> and Partner at Roland Berger, further explained: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>&quot;It&#039;s particularly important to us to combine American entrepreneurial spirit and German entrepreneurship. The three winners are role models for other female founders; they inspire and motivate other women to become entrepreneurs.&quot;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Show positive examples<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The three award-winning founders are <a href=\"\/en\/40250\/interview-zarah-bruhn\/\">Zarah Bruhn<\/a>, Co-Founder &amp; CEO of <a href=\"\/en\/14216\/7-questions-for-social-bee\/\">Social Bee<\/a>, Xenia Scholl, Co-Founder &amp; COO TeleRetail and Michelle Skodowski, CO-Founder &amp; COO Botfriends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Munich founder<strong> Zarah Bruhn<\/strong> was delighted with the award:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>&quot;The Female Founders Award helps to make female founders visible and highlight positive examples. They draw attention to the profession and show other women that they can be successful in the startup scene, even or especially as women.&quot;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Social Bee is Germany&#039;s first integration service provider. The Munich-based startup, a non-profit organization, facilitates the sustainable integration of refugees through temporary employment.
