We present you with 7 different options.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Startup founders often initially face the question of financing and securing the necessary capital for their company. Large sums of money can quickly accumulate for office or commercial space, materials, production, machinery, and personnel. This makes it all the more important to inform yourself about the various financing options in a timely manner. We&#039;ve compiled seven different ways to raise capital for you. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>1. Financing with the help of government subsidies<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The government supports entrepreneurs with various grant programs to help them establish their own businesses. Here are a few examples:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Students, graduates and scientists who want to realize their business idea have the opportunity to apply for the <strong><a aria-label=\" (opens in new tab)\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.exist.de\/DE\/Home\/inhalt.html\" target=\"_blank\">Exist Founder&#039;s Grant<\/a> <\/strong>from the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy. Depending on the applicant&#039;s qualifications, the monthly financial support varies between \u20ac1,000 and \u20ac3,000. The maximum duration is one year.<\/li><li> The Bavarian State Government supports the <strong>Bavarian program for technology-oriented start-ups<\/strong> (Baytou) supports startups in the development of their products, processes, and services. Selected young companies receive funding of up to 3 percent of the eligible costs of the concept phase and 45 percent for a development project. The maximum funding amount is \u20ac150,000 for software development, and \u20ac26,000 for technological work in the concept phase. <\/li><li>The <strong><a aria-label=\"Fl\u00fcgge program (opens in new tab)\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.fluegge-bayern.de\/\" target=\"_blank\">Fledge program<\/a> <\/strong>The Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs supports start-ups from Bavarian universities. It is aimed at students, graduates, and university employees with an innovative business idea in the manufacturing and service sectors. Scholarship recipients receive a monthly payment of \u20ac2,500 for one year. There is also the option of receiving additional material resources and funding for business coaching.<\/li><li>Unemployed people who want to end their unemployment by becoming self-employed can, for example, apply to the Federal Employment Agency for <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.arbeitsagentur.de\/arbeitslosengeld\/existenzgruendung-gruendungszuschuss\" target=\"_blank\">Start-up grant<\/a><\/strong> The start-up grant, which is calculated based on the last unemployment benefit payment plus \u20ac300, is approved for six months. It can then be extended for another nine months. For example, Baystartup organizes the <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.baystartup.de\/bayerische-businessplan-wettbewerbe\/muenchen\" target=\"_blank\">Munich Business Plan Competition<\/a><\/strong>Here, startups have the opportunity to present their business ideas to an interested audience of investors, experts, and entrepreneurs in three phases. The competition offers a total of \u20ac48,500 in prize money. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy has also <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.gruenderland.bayern\/\" target=\"_blank\">&#039;Start? Grant!&#039; competition<\/a><\/strong> a program that supports technology-oriented start-ups in the field of digitalization in their early stages. The maximum funding amount for winners is 36,000 euros. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But there are also many interesting competitions for founders throughout Germany, such as the \u2018<strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.deutscher-gruenderpreis.de\/\" target=\"_blank\">German Founders&#039; Prize<\/a><\/strong>&#039;, the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Digital Innovations Startup Competition (opens in new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bmwi.de\/Redaktion\/DE\/Wettbewerb\/gruenderwettbewerb-digitale-innovationen.html\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Start-up competition &#039;Digital Innovations&#039; <\/strong><\/a>or the &#039;<strong>Breakthrough Award<\/strong>&#039;. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, you shouldn&#039;t base your financing strategy on this option, because you can never be sure that you&#039;ll win one of the competitions. Rather, you can push your startup further with a win.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>3.<\/strong> <strong>Venture Capital <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Startups with a scalable business model can <a href=\"\/en\/46498\/munich-investor-scene\/\">Venture capitalists<\/a> Look around. Venture capital firms not only support young companies with financing, but also offer important industry expertise and serve as a showcase for startups. However, they often demand a large percentage of the company shares in return and want to resell these shares later at the highest possible profit. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Young high-tech companies can access financing through the state-supported <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.htgf.de\/de\/\" target=\"_blank\">High-Tech Founders Fund (HTGF)<\/a><\/strong> hope. This early-stage venture capital firm focuses on European tech startups with high-growth B2B business models. Investments range from \u20ac500,000 to \u20ac3 million per financing round, with a total of \u20ac12 million per startup.<\/li><li>Also the <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Bayern Kapital GmbH (opens in new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/bayernkapital.de\/\" target=\"_blank\">Bayern Kapital GmbH<\/a><\/strong> Bayern Kapital supports high-tech startups with equity capital from the seed phase to the growth phase. Depending on the stage of the young company, Bayern Kapital provides large amounts of capital.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>4. Bank loans and development loans<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Of course, you can also finance your business with a loan. However, it is often difficult to obtain a regular bank loan for a startup idea without being able to offer the bank collateral.
