The Media Lab's Media Startup Fellowship is entering its sixth round. We introduce the four Munich-based startups participating in the Media Lab's sixth batch.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eight new teams are in the 6th batch of the Media Labs<\/a> four of them are from Munich. The startups' ideas range from open source and data-driven journalism to ad tech. Of the more than 70 applications, almost half were from female founders. Two of them are now part of the Media Startup Fellowship. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In brief: For the next nine months, the following startups will be represented in the Media Lab: 1E9, Rosamag, Veeplay, Focal Analytics, The Storymarket, Flowra, Aclipp, and Jalu TV. Four of them are Munich-based startups: 1E9, Aclipp, Jalu TV, and Focal Analytics. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who are the Munich teams in the 6th batch of the Media Lab?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

1E9 aims to combine open source journalism with networking and has created an open magazine that informs and inspires readers about the world of future technologies. Here, authors find a space for constructive discussions, get to know each other, and network. In addition to the Magazine and own community <\/a>1E9 also offers events. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Munich Focal Analytics supports online publishers in market analysis<\/a>Who are loyal readers and what interests them? The startup combines tracking data with psychological insights from human-computer interaction and machine learning algorithms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The startup Aclipp comes from a completely different corner. The Munich-based company offers a new customer-oriented and web-based Reporting solution for PR agencies<\/a>This allows agencies to track and document the results of their media work. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Munich-based AI coach Jalu TV, on the other hand, wants to bring professional sports commentators and their audiences together in a different way. Through real-time analysis of social media posts and the ability for viewers to communicate via chat, users can interact differently.<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
