The Bavarian-French Startup Night took place in Munich for the third time. The French Consulate, Atos, Invest in Bavaria<\/a> and BayFrance with the support of the Franco-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce, the Franco-German University, the Bavarian State Chancellery and other partners at the Institut Fran\u00e7ais in Munich.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the topic of "Artificial Intelligence" in 2018, this year's event focused on "Digital Solutions for Our Planet." Fifteen selected startups pitched their business models to potential customers and partners on the topics of smart cities, smart energy, smart mobility, and social responsibility. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Munich startups Motius and Veomo introduce themselves<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Among them were Veomo<\/a> and Motius<\/a> Two startups from Munich are also involved. Veomo aims to shed light on the mobility dilemma with its visualization software. Motius is a research and development company specializing in the latest technologies and building innovative products and prototypes in the fields of computer science, mechanical engineering, and electrical engineering. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the pitches, expert discussions took place in the garden of the Institut Fran\u00e7ais. The 3rd Franco-Bavarian Startup Night concluded with a relaxed get-together. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Philippe Mareine, <\/strong>SEVP, Head of Group HR and Chief Digital & Transformation Officer at Atos, about the evening:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

"As a German-French company with headquarters in Bezons and Munich, we at Atos strongly support bringing together young companies and business partners from both regions. The Franco-Bavarian Startup Night offers all participants a platform for forward-looking discussions, this time on the topic of 'Digital Solutions for Our Planet,' and successful collaborations to jointly drive innovation. Especially in Bavaria, Atos has close ties with the Technical University of Munich and the French Consulate, and we quickly recognized the potential of such an event. The Franco-Bavarian Startup Night took place for the third time this year \u2013 we have been committed to it from the very beginning and look forward to continued collaboration." <\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

And also Benjamin Braun <\/strong>from the Munich startup Motius sees the added value of events like the Bavarian-French Startup Night. He says: <\/p>\n\n\n\n
