1. Who are you and what do you do? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

My name is Valentin (37), and after many years at a large corporation, I've been wondering why our top graduates are so often like a bull in a china shop. In other words: Career starters and young managers are often overwhelmed by professional issues, and there's a lack of competent and neutral contacts with whom they can have a quick chat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That's why I founded Coach Now in 2017 \u2013 the first online coaching platform specializing in young professionals and young managers. You can book a coaching appointment in just a few minutes, 24\/7, and receive quick help with your specific professional problem from one of our coaches via online video call. Our offering is aimed at companies that want to individually develop their young high-potential employees and managers with coaching packages without wasting a lot of money on ineffective training. Customer-specific solutions such as Coach Now as a Service also bring digital coaching directly to many of our clients' companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. But that's been around for a long time!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Coaching? Yeah, sure! But coaches usually only want to coach executives and board members\u2014only a few coaches focus on the younger generation. Coaching platforms? Yes, there are a few. However, you have to look closely to see if there's a clear concept behind them and where the focus lies. Most platforms are purely matchmaking platforms\u2014you end up with long lists, and you're still no wiser about which coach to talk to. Other coaching platforms offer sleek dashboards and lots of pre-made content, but that doesn't help with your individual problem either. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Awesome. We're currently experiencing massive growth \u2013 especially in more conservative industries that are increasingly having to focus on younger employees due to demographic change. We're thrilled to have great clients. Since we're in the coaching industry, where trust plays a huge role, you'll certainly understand that we don't advertise our clients' names. Besides, name-dropping isn't our style.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. What does Munich mean to you? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some of our team grew up here. And the team members who are based at other locations welcome every opportunity to come to the most beautiful city in the world. The short distances to our customers are also an advantage \u2013 and Munich, a booming location, has a few major players on offer. The direct line is definitely a locational advantage compared to other cities. We find the Munich startup scene to be not so excited, but very solid and reputable. No hype about "the next big thing", just young entrepreneurs who are keen to add value to their customers with their companies and achieve success. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. How will your startup become the next unicorn? Or will we see you soon at Epic Fail Night?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I honestly don't understand the unicorn hype. What's the problem with building a solid company with happy customers, where employees can be paid, and where healthy growth leads to financial success? I think it's a shame that many founders start with big dreams, want too much too quickly, and then, after a wave of hype, can no longer pay their bills. That's not our path. And that's why I believe we won't become a unicorn, nor will we be found at Epic Fail Night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7. Hiking or beer garden? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
