For the thirteenth time, the European Commission is honoring outstanding achievements by public institutions and public-private partnerships. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The award recognizes innovative and successful measures that strengthen entrepreneurial spirit and entrepreneurial action at local, regional or national level.<\/p>\n<h3>\u201cGiving new impetus to entrepreneurship\u201d<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Christian Hirte<\/strong>, Parliamentary State Secretary to the Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy and Federal Government Commissioner for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&quot;Last year, we were greatly inspired by the EU-wide award-winning German initiatives &#039;ProjectTogether&#039; and &#039;Succession in Germany&#039;! Germany&#039;s successful performance should now motivate many energetic players to participate in the current competition round with their projects to strengthen entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial spirit. In this way, we can give new impetus to entrepreneurship\u2014as a good example in Germany and Europe.&quot;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The European Enterprise Award is presented in the 28 EU Member States as well as in Iceland, Serbia and Turkey.<\/p>\n<p>The deadline for applications is April 12, 2019.
