Applications are open until May 15, 2019.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The annual &#039;Munich&#039;s Outstanding Companies&#039; award honors companies that have demonstrated exemplary commitment to the well-being of Munich&#039;s residents. This means that the company&#039;s location is not the deciding factor, but rather its positive impact on Munich&#039;s urban society.<\/p>\n<h3>Who can apply for the 2019 Engagement Award?<\/h3>\n<p>Any company that has made a social contribution to Munich in the past year is eligible to apply. This commitment can take many forms: A monetary or in-kind donation can qualify for the award. However, the release of employees for volunteer work, the free use of company infrastructure by non-profit organizations, and even the provision of pro bono services, for example, in the areas of education, poverty, the environment, health, migration, or social disadvantage, are also recognized.<\/p>\n<p>Even micro- and small businesses can apply. Their commitment will be evaluated based on, among other things, its sustainability and creativity, its impact (and long-term impact) both externally and within the company, and whether it serves as a role model.<\/p>\n<p>The award winners will be honored at a celebratory evening event at the end of the year. The winners do not receive a cash prize.
