The Munich-based company now aims to strengthen its position in retail and expand sales and marketing.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Munich-based startup was founded in 2014 and sells cold-pressed, natural fruit and vegetable juices in Germany and Austria. The Austrian investors will support the company both financially and strategically. Runtastic founder and investor <strong>Florian Gschwandtner<\/strong> says:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&quot;As an athlete, healthy and practical nutrition has always been a priority for me, so I&#039;m happy to be able to support the team with my experience as a founder.&quot;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h3>\u201cThe goal is to supply retailers nationwide\u201d<\/h3>\n<p>The Munich-based juices can be purchased through the company&#039;s own online shop and in brick-and-mortar retail stores. According to the company, Frank Juice sold almost 1 million bottles of juice last year. With the investment, the three founders intend to <strong>Marco Gariboldi, Daniel Andreoli <\/strong>and<strong> Korbinian Gerstl<\/strong> now further strengthen their position in the retail sector and expand sales and marketing. They say:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cThe goal is to gradually supply the retail trade as comprehensively as possible and to drive expansion into the neighboring countries of Austria and Switzerland.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Frank Juice currently employs around 10 people and is based in Munich. Details about the size of the investment were not disclosed.
