Telef\u00f3nica&#039;s Startup Hub is looking for founders who have already developed their first products or services. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The startups benefit from individual coaching, access to investors and the opportunity to launch a pilot project with Telef\u00f3nica and thus gain a global corporation as their first major customer.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&quot;Wayra and Telef\u00f3nica Deutschland are working closely together to find innovative solutions that meet the specific needs of their business units. This strong exchange benefits both sides \u2013 the startups and Telef\u00f3nica&#039;s business units,&quot;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>says <strong>Katrin Bacic<\/strong>, Head of Venture Development at Wayra.<\/p>\n<h3>Munich branch is an international role model for Wayra<\/h3>\n<p>In addition, Telef\u00f3nica has launched the &quot;IoT Activation&quot; program to help startups test new Internet of Things solutions and thus shorten their time to market. The lab allows for early-stage functional testing, while providing access to high-quality tools and services that guarantee optimal network infrastructure and connectivity.<\/p>\n<p>The original concept behind the Telef\u00f3nica subsidiary was to invest in startups that would later be sold at a profit. The German Wayra branch changed <a style=\"background-color: #ffffff\" href=\"\/en\/30237\/wayra-reinvents-itself\/\">At the end of last year the course: <\/a>Instead of distributing venture capital, the startup division has since then seen itself as an intermediary between Telef\u00f3nica and innovative young companies.
