With ParkHere and smartlab's ladenetz.de platform, electric car drivers will not only be able to find available charging stations, but also know whether the parking space in front of the charging station is free. Thanks to this collaboration, ladenetz.de will now combine information from the ParkHere sensors with charging station availability data in real time.<\/strong><\/p>\n

ParkHere<\/a> and smartlab<\/a> The cooperation will enable previously unavailable synergies: electric car drivers will be able to better plan their charging times in public spaces and avoid lengthy searches for free charging stations. Until now, electric vehicle drivers have not been able to check whether the corresponding parking space is available before arriving at the charging station. These spaces are often blocked by non-charging vehicles or vehicles with combustion engines. This leads to frustration and additional time wasted searching for a free charging station.<\/p>\n

The data collected by ParkHere's parking sensors is transmitted via the European roaming platform e-clearing.net<\/a> made available and are therefore available to ladenetz.de<\/a>-Partners and other roaming partners. The Open Clearing House Protocol (OCHP), established in the market since 2012, is used here. It was expanded to include the parking management application as part of the BMWi-funded project 3connect (ICT for Electromobility III). This development, together with the reservation functionality developed by smartlab, is now entering the pilot phase for a large portion of the charging stations in the ladenetz.de network.<\/p>\n

Reduction of \u201cparking traffic\u201d<\/h3>\n
