The work environment is playing an increasingly important role for employees. If the environment isn't right, they're likely to turn down one or two job offers. A survey examined the topic of work environment in more detail and asked Bavarian employees about their preferences and priorities.<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

According to the survey of the coworking provider Mindspace<\/a> In cooperation with the market research company OnePoll, one in eight (12.7%) respondents from Bavaria have already turned down a potential new job due to poor office design and furnishings. This puts Bavaria almost on par with the German average. Of the total number of respondents, 131 (14.4%) confirm this statement.<\/p>\n

When looking for a new job, the location of the workplace and proximity to restaurants and shops are important factors for one in six Bavarians (16.51%). This is topped by career opportunities, which are crucial for one in five respondents (22.91%), and salary (83.41%).<\/p>\n

70 percent have no chance of working from home<\/h3>\n

Approaches like New Work demonstrate how the future of work must be designed to operate efficiently and innovatively. However, the basics are often still lacking. For example, only one in three (30.5%) Bavarian employees owns a laptop that allows them to work anytime and anywhere. Home office is therefore not an option for 70.5% of respondents.<\/p>\n

However, more than half (60%) of Bavarian employees have 24-hour access to their office. This theoretically allows for flexible working hours and scheduling according to employees' needs. Another important factor is the exchange within the team and with other companies to generate new ideas and broaden horizons. However, one in eight Bavarian office workers (11.4%) agrees that the design and layout of the workplace do not encourage interaction with colleagues and the team.<\/p>\n

One in ten finds the working environment too old-fashioned<\/h3>\n

In addition to interpersonal factors, office design also affects the well-being of each individual employee. One in ten Bavarians feels stressed (10.11) and frustrated (11.41) by their work environment. Even one in six (17.21) in this group feels tired due to the design, layout, and comfort of the office. This may be due, among other things, to the fact that one in ten respondents from Bavaria (11.41) perceives their work environment as outdated and worn-out.<\/p>\n

Surprisingly, one-third (36.91%) of respondents from Bavaria don't know what coworking is. However, one in six (14.61%) has worked in a coworking space before.<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
