{"id":39048,"date":"2018-08-09T11:55:14","date_gmt":"2018-08-09T09:55:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cms.munich-startup.net\/?p=39048"},"modified":"2018-08-08T12:03:39","modified_gmt":"2018-08-08T10:03:39","slug":"creative-business-cup-2018","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cms.munich-startup.net\/en\/39048\/creative-business-cup-2018\/","title":{"rendered":"Creative Business Cup: Who will compete for Germany?"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"entry-content\"><p><strong>This year, young companies and startups at the interface of innovation, creativity and technology once again have the opportunity to qualify for the German pre-selection of the international start-up competition Creative Business Cup. <a href=\"https:\/\/platform.younoodle.com\/competition\/cbc_2018_germany\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Apply<\/a> Companies with creative solutions from a wide range of industries, from computer games to medical technology and film to experience technology, can apply. The application deadline is August 19, 2018.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The candidates will have the opportunity to present themselves and their business ideas to a broader audience at THE ARTS+ trade fair in Frankfurt on October 12. A jury of experts appointed by the RKW Competence Center will select one company from among all candidates to be crowned German champion and participate in the international finals of the Creative Business Cup in Copenhagen in November. The company will have the chance to win cash prizes, non-cash prizes, investor contacts, and access to an international network.<\/p>\n<h3>High degree of creativity required<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Startups and young companies that apply creative skills in the development or production of an innovative product or service are eligible to participate.<\/li>\n<li>It must be a registered, commercial company with market potential.<\/li>\n<li>The startup must own the rights to the submitted idea.<\/li>\n<li>The proportion of invested debt capital may not exceed USD 1 million.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Creative Business Cup allows the following sectors to participate: architecture, performing arts, design, experience technology, film\/video\/photography, leisure, gastronomy, (arts) and crafts, fashion, music, radio and television, software, computer games and digital publishing, toys and games, publishing, advertising, 3D printing.<\/p>\n<p>Participants must demonstrate a high degree of creativity and present a business model with recognizable market potential.
