The Academic Program for Entrepreneurship (APE) is one of the leading entrepreneurship, design thinking, and innovation programs in Europe. As a supplementary and continuing education program, its primary goal is to teach APE participants entrepreneurial thinking and innovation processes, demonstrate alternative career planning options, and provide them with the necessary tools. Applications are open until August 31, 2018.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The program was launched in 2008 by Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship (SCE)<\/a> As an entrepreneurship certificate program of the Munich University of Applied Sciences and the SCE, APE offers additional qualification in entrepreneurship and innovation for professionals and students at all universities. Over the course of ten months, participants learn methods and tools such as design thinking, lean startup, prototyping, and business modeling. APE focuses on implementation, and the methods learned are applied directly.<\/p>\n

Real issues for real solutions and business models<\/h3>\n

A total of three different projects and team constellations will deepen knowledge and experience in the use of innovation methods. On a personal level, participants will expand a variety of key competencies, such as teamwork and communication skills, and will have the opportunity to explore leadership skills in particular.<\/p>\n

APE works closely with companies and organizations. These provide real-life topics and projects for which participants develop new products, services, or business models\u2014which are often subsequently implemented within the company. Under certain conditions, participants often also have the opportunity to work on their own projects.<\/p>\n

Academic Program for Entrepreneurship: Application for scholarship open<\/h3>\n

Participation in the Academic Program for Entrepreneurship requires a financial contribution of \u20ac5,000. Students can apply for a full scholarship, and working professionals can apply for a partial scholarship (50%). Scholarships are awarded based on motivation and commitment, not your grades.<\/p>\n

To apply to APE, you need a CV, a short letter of motivation (max. 2 pages) and the completed registration form<\/strong>You can support your scholarship application by completing one of the following tasks (max. 1 page):<\/p>\n

(1) Which business model fascinates you personally and why?<\/p>\n

(2) Sit in a public place, observe, and identify three problems that need to be improved. Choose one and explain how you would approach a solution.<\/p>\n
