The Indian IT group Tech Mahindra has opened an office with a Makers Lab in Munich. A total of around 120 employees are expected to work at the new location.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to the company, the number of employees in Munich is expected to double within the next three years. The Indian digital transformation consulting firm employs more than 110,000 people in 90 countries worldwide. Forbes magazine lists the company among the "Fab 50" companies in Asia.<\/p>\n

Tech Mahindra cooperates with Telef\u00f3nica in Munich<\/h3>\n

At the Makers Lab in Munich, the Indian company is working on artificial intelligence, machine learning, robotics, the Internet of Things, augmented reality\/virtual reality, 5G, software-defined networks, and quantum computing. The center in Munich is the seventh worldwide and the second in Europe. The consulting firm collaborates with Telef\u00f3nica Deutschland in Munich.<\/p>\n

The Bavarian State Minister for Digital Affairs, Media and Europe George Eisenreich<\/strong> said in greeting:<\/p>\n

"Bavaria has an investment program of over five billion euros for new key fields such as robotics, autonomous driving, and Agriculture and Forestry 4.0. Therefore, we are delighted that Tech Mahindra, as an international company, is implementing its Software Factory of the Future strategy with the Makers Lab in Bavaria for the first time in Germany."<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
