This solution will enable autonomous vehicles and robots to create dynamic 3D maps from ordinary video images in real time. Any commercially available camera will be used as a sensor. Artisense plans to use the capital to further develop its software and expand its teams at its locations in Munich, Palo Alto, and Tokyo.<\/p>\n<p>This is how <strong>Daniel Cremers<\/strong>, Professor at the Institute for Image Processing and Pattern Recognition at the Technical University of Munich and Leibniz Prize winner, joined Artisense&#039;s three-person management team as Chief Scientific Officer. He says:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cFor all types of self-driving vehicles, whether cars, delivery robots, or logistics vehicles, dynamic 3D maps, which require high-precision localization for safe navigation, will become indispensable in the future.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>By closely linking the latest research and practice, the startup can already offer the most accurate and robust technology solution.<\/p>\n<h3>Basis for autonomous movements of machines<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Thomas Oehl<\/strong>, Managing Partner at Vito Ventures, says:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&quot;We see Europe increasingly becoming one of the hubs for deep tech startups. A unique ecosystem has emerged that combines innovation, research, and entrepreneurship with vast sales markets.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Artisense has the potential to become a pioneer in dynamic 3D mapping with its technology, thus laying the foundation for autonomous machine movements. <strong>Uwe Horstmann<\/strong>, partner at co-investor Project A, says:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&quot;Artisense has a very strong team that impressed us not only with its expertise and deep knowledge, but also with its innovative and future-oriented business model.
