"Ideas worth spreading" \u2014 this is the motto of the popular TEDxTUM conference series, which will take place again towards the end of the year. You still have the opportunity to apply to be a speaker for the upcoming event \u2014 or to nominate someone you think deserves to be on this stage.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Technology, Entertainment, Design \u2014 or simply: TED. TED Talks have established themselves worldwide as an exciting and versatile lecture format. The format, which originated in the USA, can also be adapted to local events and is then called a TEDx conference. Such a conference has been taking place in Munich for several years, specifically at the Technical University of Munich (TUM).<\/p>\n

The conference TEDxTUM<\/a> is not only intended for students, but also open to people outside TUM who are interested in technology and research. The format has been very well received in recent years, and the 500 tickets have usually sold out very quickly.<\/p>\n

Apply&Nominate<\/h3>\n

There should be no shortage of interested listeners. Only the speakers have not yet been confirmed, because Application period runs until 21.04.2018<\/a>. As part of the \u201cApply&Nominate<\/a>" campaign, you can now either apply with an idea yourself or suggest someone else with a potentially suitable topic. The conference is open-ended in terms of topics, but innovative topics from the startup scene are very welcome to the TEDxTUM organizers. Last year, for example, Manuel Opitz from Mecuris<\/a> as a speaker on stage.<\/p>\n
