On March 20, Felix Harteneck, Managing Director of the Munich-based startup, accepted the Intertraffic Innovation Award on behalf of the entire team at the opening ceremony. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In his speech, His Royal Highness Prince Constantijn of the Netherlands emphasized the importance of entrepreneurial spirit and innovative ideas for the transport and parking industry in solving current and future problems. Following the speech, jury member Ben Rutten of Eindhoven University of Technology presented the award.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&quot;The jury agrees that the self-powered parking sensor is a completely new but absolutely convincing approach to the parking problem. Compared to the other nominees, this is the most promising solution for the industry,&quot;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>said jury member <strong>Jorrit Weerman<\/strong>, CEO of Parking Network.<\/p>\n<h3>Durable and sustainable<\/h3>\n<p>Weerman continued:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cFurthermore, the German startup solves the challenge of bringing durable and sustainable products to market.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"\/en\/32650\/parkhere-lechwerke-special-price\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ParkHere<\/a> presents a future-proof solution with its core product, the energy-autonomous parking sensor. What makes it particularly sustainable is that the sensor generates the energy needed to transmit the information wirelessly from the pressure exerted by the car passing over it. This means the system requires neither a power connection nor batteries. An algorithm analyzes the collected data, allowing, for example, the occupancy status of the parking space to be displayed via a dashboard or web app.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Felix Harteneck\u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong>\u200bfor a successful start to the trade fair:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&quot;We are delighted to have convinced the international jury and to have received such recognition.
