In doing so, we are creating role models and supporting women&#039;s economic equality.&quot;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>True to the motto &quot;You can&#039;t be what you can&#039;t see,&quot; the &quot;LaMonachia&quot; award aims to highlight the economic success of women. Commitment to the city&#039;s community also plays a role. The award&#039;s name was also chosen with care, as LaMonachia is the Latin term and allegory of the feminine Munich, depicted in two large paintings in Munich&#039;s City Hall. The symbol of LaMonachia is the lioness, who radiates strength, composure, and natural authority.<\/p>\n<h3>\u201cLaMonachia\u201d 2018: Application phase underway<\/h3>\n<p>The application deadline for the business award is May 15, 2018.
