Private investors and family offices are now providing the company with one million euros for further growth.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Anyone who wants to sublet their apartment through portals like Airbnb has a lot of work to do: From photographing the apartment for the listing to handing over the keys upon arrival to cleaning after the guests leave. Airgreets takes care of these tedious tasks and charges a quarter of the rental income as commission.<\/p>\n<p>The Munich-based company has thus arranged 10,000 overnight stays since summer 2016. More precisely: <a href=\"\/en\/22092\/airbnb-made-easy-7-questions-for-airgreets\/\">Just under a year ago, the founders told us that they had managed \u201cwell over 1,000 nights\u201d up to that point.<\/a> In the last 11 months alone, the startup has managed around 9,000 overnight stays.<\/p>\n<p>With their concept, the founders have now convinced private investors and family offices to provide a financial injection of one million euros. The startup intends to invest primarily in marketing. <a href=\"http:\/\/gruender.wiwo.de\/airgreets-unterstuetzung-fuer-den-concierge-service\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WirtschaftsWoche founder<\/a> The company targets frequent travelers, consultants, pilots and cabin crew, artists, and regular vacationers. Co-founder <strong>Sebastian Drescher<\/strong> tells the magazine:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cWith our product, we reach a target group that would not be able to engage in home sharing without us.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h3>Airgreets plans to launch additional platforms<\/h3>\n<p>Airgreets is also working on making its services more efficient, says Drescher:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cWe will always retain an analog component, but we are of course working on digitalization and automation to further reduce manual processes.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The Munich-based company wants to avoid too close a relationship with the market leader Airbnb. Drescher says the relationship is good and cooperative. However, other sites that offer rooms or vacation rentals could also be added in the future.
